Dr Ian Campbell is a contemporary Vascular and Endovascular surgeon with extensive training in Open and Endovascular Surgery.

 

Ian has an particular interest in the management of the following conditions:

• Varicose Veins

• Deep Vein Thrombosis & Superficial Thrombosis

• Aortic Aneurysms

• Lower Limb and Aortic/Iliac Arterial Disease

• Carotid Stenosis

• Renal access

• Wound care

Dr Campbell completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) through James Cook University (JCU). Ian also completed a Master of Public and Tropical Medicine (MPH&TM) through JCU, a Master of Traumatology (MTrauma) through University of Newcastle, and a Postgraduate Diploma of Surgical Anatomy (PGDipSurgAnat) through the University of Otago, New Zealand.

 

Dr Campbell completed his Vascular Surgery training though tertiary facilities including Royal Brisbane Hospital, The Townsville Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Wellington Hospital in New Zealand. He completed an additional Fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

 

Dr Ian Campbell continues to work at the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a Visiting Medical Officer and privately at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Mater Private Hospital and St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital.
