A/Prof Siddhartha (Sid) Baxi is a radiation oncologist residing in southeast Queensland, working with the 5D Clinics robotic stereotactic treatment facility located in Perth, providing access for patients who would like to understand the value of robotic stereotactic based treatments for their cancer situation.

 

His tumour streams focus on the Central Nervous System (CNS), head and neck, upper and lower GI, skin, thoracic and uro-oncology.

 

His academic links are with Griffith University and Menzies School of Health Research, and he takes part in industry sponsored and investigator initiated cutting edge clinical research.

In parallel, he has been active in college activities (Faculty of Radiation Oncology, RANZCR and as Chair of the Targeting Cancer Campaign). In those roles he has been an advocate of equity and access to quality radiation oncology in regional and remote Australia.

 

In the innovation space he enjoys supporting various health care start-up enterprises and loves to be challenged and challenge the status quo in the health care space.

Bringing clinical and innovation endeavours for the benefit of his patients is the vision in this process. With diverse Board experience, he enjoys the strategic and risk management conversations within organisations and is a clinical reference expert for Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee.
